MEETING OF CREDITORS.

A meeting of creditors hi the estate of Mr. F. G. Taylor, boarding-house and storekeeper, Stratford, was held on Thursday, in the Courthouse, Hawera. There were only three creditors present — namely, Mr. J. R. Lever, Inglewood; Mr. "Albert Peters ; New Plymouth, andMr.Barleyman, who represented Messrs Curtis Bros., storekeepers, Stratford. Mr. Barleyman was voted to the choir, and Mr. Lever was appointed trustee, the usual 5 per cent, being allowed. A resolution -was passed, authorising the trustee to employ Mr. Taylor, if he should think fit, to collect the book debts, and to look after the estate ; the remuneration not to exceed £2 per week. Mr. W. Humphries, of the firm of Humphries and Son, New Plymouth, put in a claim for the full amount due to them, stating that they held a mortgage and bill of sale over the goods and chattels of the debtor.
