Mr. HußiißT reports : — Wheat, 4s 3d to 4s 6dj oats, Is 8d to 2sj maize, 4s to 4s 6d; l.r-an, Je3; pollard, £o; flour, .£l2 15s to £VA 10s j potatoes, £&; carrots, £2 10s; 1 Hitter, in kegs, 9d; bacon and hams, lOdj local cheese, Bdj Canterbury, 7sd; rye grass, 3s 9d; eggs, 2s. There is a scarcity of bacon, rye grass, and eggs. Chbistchuech, Friday.

Over half a million bushels of wheat were shipped at Lyttelton for the United Kingdom during the month of April. The wheat from the Canterbury Plains has been touched with rust, but, on the whole, the quality of this year's shipments will compare favorably with previous seasons. Oatmeal has never been known so low in Canterbury as it is now. The price, f.0.b., is .£lO 10a.
