Dental Advances
PROGRESS CONTINUES The progressive pqli'cy of the Otago Dental School , which loses no opportunity of studying modern developments in dental technique overseas, continues to flourish, and 1 a further advance in treatment will take place shortly. Mr. A. H. Gresham, senior lecturer in orthodontics at the school, has just returned from a two months' visit to Australia, where he has been studying at the Australian College of Dentistry, Melbourne. As a result of his work on an advanced method of treating mal-occlusion a new ;ype of treatment for this complaint will be introduced to New Zealand.
After discussing the new advance Mr. Gresham' touched lightly on several items of interest in connection with his brief slay in Australia. In the firs: place, he said, the standard of dentistry in this country appeared, generally, to be well up to the standard across the Tasman. Still more rapid progress would be made here when the new Dencal School became a reality.
