AMERICANS AND CHILDREN The New i Zealand- Lawn Tennis Association has decided to take advantage of an offer by the visiting overseas professionals who are to appear at Mitchell Park, Lower Hutt, on November 20 to give a demonstration for the benefit of school children during the morning. The visitors will play a match and display their strokes before spectators limited to school children under the age of 16 years. SHIELD AND CASKET The Wellington teams to defend the Wilding Shield and Nunneley Casket against Auckland at the Newtown Club’s courts on November 12 and 13 will be:— \ Wilding Shield.—R.
