TALK ON PERFORATIONS
The monthly meeting of the Hutt Valley Philatelic Society was held in the Red Cross Hall, Lower Hutt. Mr. Soward presided over 38 members.
The evening’s highlight was a talk on perforations very ably given by Mr. W. C. Barnard, who made his subject much easier to understand by some very clear charts which he had prepared. Mr. H. C. Berry gave an illustrated talk on watermarks- and their importance in stamp collecting. Mr. Pusey displayed many leaves from his large subject collection, and it was appreciated very much by the members present.
