Epuni Subway

WORKING fARTy The newly-completed subway at Epuni Railway Station has proved to be a novel and exciting play* ground for youngsters, whose activities apparently included many a battle marked by the lavish use of ammunition obtained from the railway tracks. The subway was left in such a disgraceful state that the Epuni Residents’ Association organised a work party last weekend, which, after removing a dozen barrow loads of debris, restored clie subway to a state more appropriate to a civilised community. It is hoped that parents in the district will endeavour to persuade chair children to give no further cause for complaint.
