WATERLOO SCHOOL HALL

An outstanding programme lias been arranged for a celebrity con

cert on behalf of 'the funds of the Waterloo School to be held in the school assembly hall on Tuesday night. William Clothier, the New Zealand baritone, will be heard in several numbers, and his appearance should be a great draw, for he is recognised to be an unusually gifted singer, with a rich resonant voice and unusual powers of interpretation. iSybil Phillipps, soprano, is another popular artist, whose singing is always a delight. In addition items will be given by Robert Henry, solo pianist; Sandra Gunn, violinist; and Patsy Boyd, r. recent talent quest winner. Rarely is such a talented concert party heard in Lower Hutt.

Seats for the concert may be reserved at Jenness' Music Store, Lower Hutt, or at Mr. S. Hall’s tobacconist shop, Waterloo.
