RUBBISH REMOVAL.
(To die Editor)
Sir, —-Surely this is the last straw! On Monday afternoon 1 arrived home to find my unemptied dust bin, with a council notice on it to the effect that it bad to be placed on the kerb, a distance of three 'feet from whore it is usually placed on the grass plot just clear of the footpath. At least the dust bins could have been emptied and then the notices attached, instead of decaying rubbish having to be kept a further week. Surely our footpaths are narrow enough for mothers with prams and children without dust bins placed in the middle of them. —I am etc.,
DISGUSTED
(To the Editor)
Sir,—T would like to make public
through your paper, my complaint concerning the disposal of rubbish from Bauchop Road. I was horrified to find, on my return from work to-day, that my dust bin, which had been left on the pavemeht a few inches from the kerb, was unemptied, but the dustman had taken the trouble to put a note under the lid stating that bins must be on the kerb. Surely be could have emptied the
in and then left the note. In these
days when infection is raging in the country every precaution should be taken, and tin's incident is definitely contrary to health regulations.— I am etc.,
IMMIGRANT.
