TITLE OF ASSOCIATION By dropping the words “and Recreation” from its title and deciding to be known as the New Zealand Marching Association the New Zealand Marching and Recreation Association has removed an obstacle to its amalgamation with the Wanganui Marching Union.

The Wanganui organisation considered that the activities of the Association should be limited to marching. ,

It is probable that girls’ marching competitions in New Zealand will now be brought under the control of one body.
