HUTT VALLEY SOCIETY

The Hint Valley Poultry, Pigeon and Gage Bird Society, which has been in existence for f!0 years, held its 19th annual show at Upper Hutt. The attendance was. exceptionally large. The Wairarapa Game Fowl and Game Bantam Club —a specialist club- —held its show in conjunction with the Hint Valley. There were 1 f>o entries in the poultry classes. 80 in bantam classes. 20 duck classes and 1.30 in homer pigeon classes. ' All birds penned were well up to the standard and many of the ' prize-winners were outstanding birds. The judges were Messrs. H. J. Neighbours and M. P. Kippenberger (all poultry sections) and Mr. K Hoare (pigeons). Tbe prive winners were:
