SOUND FINANCIAL POSITION
whe Hutt Valley Pipe Band is , in a healthy financial position, according to the balance sheet presented at the annual meeting recently. The secretary reported that the new uniforms were made and paid for, the cost being £IOO. The Band has commenced its learners’ class and a spendid opportunity awaits any lad, or man, to learn the pipes. Expert tuition is free at the Band Room, iStrand Park, any Tuesday evening.
