COLLECTION OF FAT HUTT VALLEY CAMPAIGN At a meeting of (he Hutt Valley Aid to Britain Committee the fat collection sub-committee reported that arrangements have been made for housewives to, leave fat at butchers' shops, where it will be collected and rendered down for shipment to Britain.
it was stated thai 280 tins ol food, 90 parcels and 14 cakes of soap have been collected. A cheque for £134/16/3 from the Bebe de Roland concert and £25 from the Younger Set were received.
During the past month 10,673 meat coupons and 774 butter coupons have been collected.
