Wonderful Rug

8,000 PEOPLE WALKED • The housewives’ dream of a rug that will not wear out is now a reality, says a London paper. It will be shown at the British Industries Fair in London. One such rug used for exhibition purposes has withstood the test ot S.OOO people walking over it during twelve days. Dry-cleaned, it showed no signs of appreciable wear. The new method in rug-making produces, on a very strong backing of cotton or jute, a tufted rug with a very long pile. The wool used is pure black-faced Scotch wool, high in quality and durability. Guaranteed against sun-fading, the rugs are being manufactured in ten different colours, from light pastel shades to deep substantial tones.
