R.S.A. Bowling Club

■ V HUTT VALLEY SUGGESTION The establishment of a Hutt Returned Services Association Bowling Club and the provision of two greens were advocated by Mr. W. F. Hadwin at the annual meeting of the Hutt Valley Returned Services Association. Mr. Hadwin said that a section could be" obtained or application could be made to the Lower Hutt City Council for use of part of one of the reserves. Two greens would cost about £looo—£soo each. Lower Hutt was one of the few places that, did not possess an R.S.A. Bowling Club. He was sure that the Wellington Bowling Centre would give all. possible help. An ideally suitable site was available within a mile of the Post Office. If the greens were secured an R.S.A. bowling tournament could be held in the Hutt Galley.

It was decided that the incoming executive go into the matter of acquiring land for a bowling green and the formation of an R.S.A. Bowling Club.
