Sydney, during a recent week-end. caused superficial damage io furnishings and iittings. prepared themselves hot coffee from the theatre refreshment cupboard, and decamped with about 5/- In cash. Police Inquiring into the incidents believe that the same men were responsible for both jobs because fingerprints were found on lilni which had been removed from the Embassy and discarded at the Rialto. At the Embassy the men tied aisle ropes in a position in the balcony to enable ihem to make a quick getaway to the stalls if they were disturbed. On the Monday morning the theatre stall discovered stationery and tickets scattered in the manager's office, doors had been damaged, and at the Embassy the bio-box was also damaged.
