Successful Concert

scotT ri \i>s benefit The 2nd Lower Hun Group held a must successful concert recently. Knox Hall being packed. A splendid program me arranged by Mrs. Noel Taylor ami Mr. Edwin Pirie delighted :. most apptcciative audience. In addition to choral items by Mrs. Taylor's choir and the Knox Junior Choir, items were contributed by Misses Julie Tuppen, Kathleen Saun-dt-ra (dancing). Gwenda Hoyes. Dorothy Dance (elocution). Jessie Maxweli, Mr. and Mrs. Martin. Heather R. Proctor. Raymond Pirie. Ron Jamos. Mrs. Winifred McLoughlin (instrumental). Misses I. Benzies. C. Drummond, B. Evans and B. Taylor (quartet), vocal duet by Misses Margaret and Winifred Pirie and solos b> Betty Evans. Beatrice Taylor, and Mr. W. Smith. Messrs. C. H. and John Burridue were also greatly appreciated and the Scouts gave a demonstration.

The group's final effoffrt. in the form of a "bring and buy." is to lie held on Saturday next.
