There was a large attendance -jf members at the (trst annual meeting of the re-formed Hutt Valley Memorial Technical College Ex-Students' Association, held in the College Assembly Hall.
The annual report and balancesheet showed the Association's affairs to be in a healthy position at the end of the first year's activities. The following officers were elected:—Patron, the College Principal, Mr. A. McFadyen; president. Mr. H. Wansbrough; vice-presidents. Miss J. Pearson and Mr. A. Held: hon. secretary. Miss I. Saunders; hon. treasurer, Mr. E. Stutter; social secretary, Mr. 1. delated? committee. Misses B. Burton. J. Peterson, and i.. McKeltcb. Messrs. L. Smith, C. Hose, and J. Brough; hon. auditor, Mr. R. W. Mills. The Association constitution has just been printed and copies were available for members at the meeting. The Association badge is being niamifneliired and tlie fust delivery is expected wit din a fortnight.
Tut' president emphasised - that the Association would he kept strong if members supported club activities, and he drew attention to the fact that within a few months of its re-formation the Association had formed three news clubs—table tennis, drama, and tramping.
