RETAINED BY HUTT VALLEY OPENING OF NEW COURTS
The Hutt »-r.]ley Tennis Asvocialion retained the Nunneley Casket by withstanding the challenge from the Canterbury Association on Friday and Saturday. The play was very iuteres(ing, and there was a close finish.
The nc-w corn's in Mitchell Park were officially opened on Saturday afternoon. Mr. J.. W. Andrews, Mayor oi: Lower Hutt, in 'landing over the courts, assured the AosociaL:on of evary assistance from the City Council. Mr. W. Nash assured tennis players of the Government's interest.
Other spiuu:crc were Mr. Wise, Mayor of Eastbourne, Mr. H. 3. Wilkinson, of the New Zealand Association, and Mr. F. S. Ramson, chairman of the Association.
