RIVERBANK RIFLE CLUB
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES
The annual presentation of trophies won during the season was held by the Riverbank Miniature Rifle Club recently when a large number of friends and vice-presidents of the club, together with members. of other clubs, attended. The evening took the form of a social and dance. The duties of M.C. were in ihe capable hands of Mr. South. Mrs. Hudson, the club's president. welcomed all.
The president of the Hutt Vallej Miniature Rifle Association, Mr. Ross, congratulated Hie club on the wonderful per) arumnee of .some of the members in the recent champion ships. The Prize-winners The following competitors were successful during the I!>4fi season: Club championship, Mrs. Full ford, runner-up Mr. Sundholm in tlie A grade; Mrs. South winner and Mr. Phipps runner-up in the B grade. Handicap aggregate: A grade, Mrs. Nightingale, with Mrs. Fullford run-ner-up; B grade won by Mrs. Soutii, with Mr. Phipps in second place. Most number of bulls: A grade, Mr. Sundholm; B grade, Mr. Phipps. Hagan Cup: Won by Mr. Solomon. A grade first competition: Won by Mrs. Harding, with Mrs. Body in second place; B grade, won by Mr. Hales, with Mrs. Mason runner-up. Second competition: A grade, Air. Prebble first, Mrs. Fullford second; B grade, Mr. South first, Mrs. Dunn second. A grade third competition. Mr. Sundholm first, Mr. Galbrait.il second; B grade, Mr. Phipps first. Mr. Hoult second. A grade, fourth competition: Mr. Black first, Mr. .Solomon second; B grade, Mrs. Gardiner first, Mrs. Dunn second. A grade fifth competition: Mr. Sundholm first, Mr. Nightingale second; B grade, Mr. South first, Mr. Klee second. Most improved shGotist: Mr.. Klee. Own start competition: i\lr. Paterson first, Mrs. Fullford and rvtr. Galbralth (eQUaI), second. Learners' aggregate: Mr. Klee, run* ner-up Miss Woolliams. liiverbank v. Olimi The Oh'iu Club paid a return visit ;o the til verba nk Club recently 1.0 . ompete for the Ohau-Riverbank biannual Shield. After a very interesting and keen shoot the Riverbantt Club won by a small margin. Mr. Hunter, of the Oliau Club, thanked the River bank Club for the pleasant evening they had provided, and congratulated the winning team :n its creditable performance.
