MASSED BANDS FESTIVAL

USE OF RECREATION GROUND In connection with the coming Band Week, in which 21 bands of the Wellington district will participate, the Lower Hutt City Council has granted the Wellington Bands Association the use of the Recreation Ground for a massed bands festival on Sunday, December 8. A nominal charge of £2/2/- to partly cover the cost of cleaning up the stand and ground will be made.

Band Week will commence with a massed bands demonstration at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on De-* 1 cember 1.
