PLANS TO WIDEN IT

It was stated by Mr. S. W. Peterson at a meeting of the executive of the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during a discussion on industrial relations, that there was a move to widen the B.Com. Degree, emphasising sociology and economics as well as the accountancy side.

The matter, said Mr. Peterson/ had gone as far as the University Senate, which had postponed .it on account of lack of facilities at present.
