OBITUARY

MR. W. C. JAMES. The death occurred last week of Mr. Wallace Cecil James, one of the oldest established chemists of Lower Hutt, at tlie age of 61 years. He had been in business in Lower Hutt for about 4 0 years. He is survived by his wife and his son, Mr. Ken James, former English comity cricketer and coach to the Hutt. Valley Cricket Association. MR. A. H. HALL. Mr. Arthur H. P. Hall, who was born in High Street, Lower Hutt, nearly SO years ago, died recently. Mr. Hall was twice married, both wives having predeceased him: He leaves two sons, Messrs. D. and E. Hall.
