POWER CUTS ENDED
NEED FOR CONTINUED CARE. The ending of the afternoon and sarly mprning power cuts in the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board’s area has been greatly appreciated by consumers—domestic, industrial, and others— during the past week. The general manager-engineer of the Board, Mr. I. R. Robinson, emphasises the need of continued care in the use of electricity. “Whether we will be able to continue without cuts will depend entirely upon whether consumers continue to economise in a genuine effort to meet the still difficult position,” he said.
