WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.

EPUNI BRANCH MEETS. The Epuni Women’s’ Institute held its monthly meeting in the Presbyterian Church Hall, Waterloo, Mrs. Scott presiding over a good attendance.. An interesting talk was given by Mr. Begg on “Rare Tropical Diseases,” The president, in thanking Mr. Begg for giving up his afternoon, presented him with a small token, while Mrs. Begg was presented with a shoulder spray. Mrs. Collard was the winner, of "Mixed Authors,” and Mrs. Scott was first for best flower. A bring-and-buy stall conducted by Mrs. Hart netted a further amount for Institute funds. The serving of afternoon tea and the singing of the National Anthem brought a very pleasant afternoon to a close.
