NORTHERN HUTT AREA At the monthly meeting of the Northern Hutt Progressive Association, a petition was received from the younger set of the district asking that something, should be done to get a hall for indoor sports, dancing, etc. 11. was staled that the committee has gone a long way towards this 1 object, and has been granted 40 acres of laud, and it is hoped to have a hall in the near future. The land is situated in Taita Drive, on the river side. The land will be laid out in playing grounds for the children and football grounds, etc., for the residents.
