WIN OVER WELLINGTON In an inter-club competition the Hutt. players beat Wellington by six games to three, with three games halved. The first eight players from each club participated in the Crawford Crescent Cup event, he)ld in conjunction with the interclub match, and this was won by Hutt with 3 games to 2, 3 being halved. Duncalf beat J. B. Parker, 3 and 1; N. Edwards beat A. D. S. Duncan; 6 and 4; J. Rudman beat E. D. Blundell, 5 and 3; R. Dalley lost to D. A. Burt, 7 and 6.
