FINE OF /:3 IMPOSED Charged with selling liquor without a license Prank Gallacher, ol' Upper I-lutt, appeared in the police Court, at Lower Ilut.t, before Mr. Thompson, S.M. / For the police Senior Detective W. McLennan staled that defendant sold liquor from his locker* at the U.S.A. Club, but without, making profit. Mr. .1. S. Haiuia, who appeared for defendant, said that the offence was committed in a spirit, of comradeship. Slating that the offence was a
nominal one and did not. call for a heavy penalty, the Magistrate imposed a line of £2, with costs 10/-.
