CRICKET IN HUTT VALLEY Bowling for Eastbourne against Air Force in the Hutt -Valley Cricket Association's championship competitions on Saturday, L. G. Foley took eight wickets for eight runs in the first innings and seven wickets for t twelve runs in the second innings. Results of games in the senior grade were:— Taita,. 139 (Spencer 23), met Petone United, 82 for seven| wickets (Fitzwater 36; Lang five foK3I). Trafalgar Park, 92 (W. Minehan four for 24), met Stop Out, 80 for six wickets (T. Minehan 20 not out; Williams 5 for 28). Eastbourne, 158 (Nettleton 44, Sounness; 34), beat Air Force 21 and 45. WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION In the Wellington Cricket Association's competitions results were:— * University 386 for nine wickets (Oakley 110) met Karorl. Wellington College Old Boys, 342 for nine wickets (J. R. Lamason 'lO2, D. Alexander 70), met Hutt. Wellington 230, met'-Kllbirnle 126 for two wickets. St. Patrick's College Old Boys 115 met Midland 150 for six wickets. Petone 205 (A. Willis 72 not out) met Institute Old Boys 37 for one wicket.
