Victory Carnival

SIX ORGANISATIONS BENEFIT APPORTIONMENT OF PROFITS A meeting of the Lower Hutt Victory Carnival Committee was held last week, Mr. E, F. Rothwell presiding. The treasurer, Mr. C. Halford, presented a statement, of accounts, and it was decided to make an interim payment of £IOO to each of the organisations benefiting from the carnival. When all the accounts have been received it is expected that each body will receive a further small sum. The organisations which will benefit -are the Boy Scouts, Lower Hutt Free Kindergarten, Lower Hutt riunket Society, Combined Bands, Hutt Valley Y.M.C.A., and the Hutt branch of the St. John Ambulance Association.
