In conformity with Section 45 (c) oL' the Electric-Power Boards Act 1925 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution hereinafter set out (which was passed by the Board on the 4th day of October, 1945; will be submitted for confirmation at a subsequent meeting of the Board to be held at the Board's Offices, llutt Road, Lower Hutt, cn Thursday, the Ist day of November, 1945, 'at 2' p.m. ■ The resolution is as follows:-— 1 • ■ •• ! at a rate not exceeding £3/7/6 per centum per annum AND THAT a Sinking Fund be created in connection with the said special loan by the payment of sums calculated at the rate oi £2/13/1 per centum annually on the amount of the said special ' loan for the time being raised until the said special loan is-repaid AND THAT payment.of the sale special loan and interest shall be made in New Zealand AND THAT there shall not be paid out of the said special loan the cost of raising the loan, or I the interest and Sinking Fund foi the first year AND' THAT the security for the repayment of the said special loan and the interest and other charges thereon be a special rate of thirty-five one-hundredths of a penny (35/l00d) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis .oi' the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the said Board's district. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 15 (2) of the •Finance Act (No. 2) 1936 that a poll of the ratepayers is required to be taken if Five (5) per centum of ttfi'e ratepayers of the rating area so demand, by writing under their frauds, delivered or sent by post to the Board.
