A site has been aecured near Andrews Avenue. During the past few years the organisation ha:.; expanded very greatly and facilities for lectures and prac ticai training are urgently needed, .-'oiae idea of ihe work of the St. •i ulm organisation is given by the local iiguros for 1 i>-I-1 during ' which. year accidents, injuries and minor ailments attended totalled over 19,'(>OO. At BLrand 'Park alone 500 ..'layers every Saturday occupy the 10 r.pcrts grounds and the services of ilie Sc. John Ambulance men is available to all players, while a wide variety of oilier duties- practically a;i \oiuulan- -are undertaken by I members, boLh untie and female. (jeer .'MHi hoys are in training. TlKvy arc all vary keen and have a proud record. 11 is, however, essential that these young folk be given adequate facilities and training equipment if the 800-year-old traditions of service of the Ancient Order of St. John of Jerusalem are to be maintaine;].
