The annual provincial meeting will be held in the Blue Triangle Hall, Wellington, on the 2 Bth September. A massed victory meeting will be held in the Wellington Town nu. on the conclusion of the war with Japan and all League members throughout the Wellington Province will be asked to attend. A combined choir of three hundred and fifty voices drawn from all brancnes within the province will participate in the proceedings. The secretary's annual report was read and adopted. This outlined the organisation and activities of tije branch over the past year, which has been one of progress and success. In thanking all, who by their co-operatioji had assisted during the year, particular mention was made of the generous space given by the Hutt News to the publishing of the reports of the monthly meetings, thereby enabling absent members tc share in the meetings and bringing the League activities before the notice of the general public. The financial statement was read and adopted, the healthy state of the finances of the branch being commented upon. The following officers were reelected: President, Mrs. N. Liebezeit Secretary, Mrs. C* V. Sugden. Treasurer, Mrs. W. H. Earnshaw. On -the conclusion of the business of the meeting, a pleasant social hour was spent, during which Mrs. Baker sang two solos and-the choir rendered several items. 1
