TAITA WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

The annual meeting of the , Taita Women's Institute was held at Taita Hall on Tuesday, March 6. The president (Mrs Brown) presided over a very good attendance. Delegates were appointed to attend the Council meeting. The annual report showed that members have had a very busy year, members going in every week to help, at the Services Club. Mrs. Bonthorne was the winner of the joints prize for the best flower in the garden; Mrs Yoss was the winner of the points prize for competitions, and Mrs. Loveridge was the winner of the knitting competition. Mrs. Jones was elected president. Mrs. Stedman contributed two solos, "Love Everlasting," and |"Dian", which were much enjoyed.
