PIANO RECITAL

Next Wednesday, the 21st, the music loving part of Hutt City will be treated to a glorious piano recital by the famous pianist Paul Schramm. This time the programme not only appeals to the lover of, what so often is called "high brow" music, but everybody will be able to enojy the night's entertainment as the artist has selected a vast ber of dances and syncopation of English, Spanish and American, as Latin American origin. In fact, this extraordinary programme is quite a novelty to the New Zealand public, not less than fifteen pieces are first performances in New Zealand. The Box Plan is now open at Ackroyd's bookshop, High Street and programmes can also be obtained there. The recital begins at 8 p.m, at Wesley Hall; doors open at 7.30.
