SERVICES CLUB

In spite of unpleasant weather conditions on both Saturday and Sunday evenings, the week-end attendances at the Lower Hutt Services Club have been well maintained, the hostesses responsible for the period being members of the Womens Committee of the Club. The artists assisting on the Sunday evening programme were Misses Billie Hume and Joan Akers, in vocal duets; Jil lian Leslie and Pat Feeney, songs; Nancy McCorraack, acrobatic dance; Val Colter and Pat Feeney, song and dance; and Loclcyer and Fox in one of their entertaining humourous interludes. The programme was arranged by Mrs. S. Wood. For next week-end, a special feature on the Saturday evening will be introduced by the girl's committee, who,' without any assistance from the other sex, will take charge and "run the show" No doubt servicemen and women will be present in full force on that occasion, if only to see just how happy an evening the girls can provide. j
