ELBE'S MILK BAR Closing down 'till Thursday, Ist March i • To our many Friends and Customers we regret that we have not been able to give our Full Time Service owing to staff shortages and supply difficulties, and are sorry if yoji may have been disappointed to find our doors closed from time to time. For some time now we have been carrying on with a heavily depleted staff in our work of manufacturing and serving- of our ice-cream and other products. Our staff, to whom holidays are due, have done a great job of work and service over a busy and difficult period, but are so reduced in numbers that to let them off one at a time, as would be done under normal conditions, would impose an impossible burden on those remaining to carry on. In deciding to close to permit stafe holidays, we feel that we owe this explanation to all who have given us such loyal, support in the past.
