PATRIOTIC SHOP
The Patriotic Shop in Andrews Avenue will re-open on Friday, 2nd March with particularly well-stock-ed stalls arranged by the Ludlam Crescent, Massey Avenue Group. A special feature will be a work stall of children's clothes, attractive and valuable. Donations of goods will be gratefully received and may be left at the residences of Mrs August 14 Whites Line West, Mrs. Kersley, 85 Ludlam Crescent or Miss Lancaster 9 Tawa Street.
Advice has been received of the appointment by the Automobile Association of a special officer who will devote his sole attention to the instruction of school children in traffic risks. Officers of the Transport Department been instructed to cooperate to the fullest possible extent with this officer.
