■ $ TAITA Mrs. Brown presided over a very good muster of members. She thank ed members for their generous donations of clothing for the Greek children. A collection for soldiers' parcels was taken up. Noniinationss for Federation Executive and Taita. Institute Committee were taken. The best bloom in the garden was won by Mrs. Sage. Best apron made from scraps of material was won by Mrs Vass. Mrs Sage was the winner of the Marigold Competition., Mrs. Jackson entertained members with musical items. STOKES VAJLLEY The new year was commenced with a very happy meeting, presided over by Mrs. A. L. Taylor, the programme being supplied by children of the various members. Those taking part were Paulette Simon, Hazel Guise, Pamela Summers, Coralie Warner, Jocelyn and Kevin Tanner, Graham and Norman Freeman, with a variety of piano solos, songs and elocution items. The best flower competition was won by Mrs. Liver with Mrs. .Guise second.
