SERVICES CLUB

There was a particularly large attendance at the L#wer Hutt Services Club on Sunday evening last when the usual social evening and concert programme was submitted for the entertainment of services personnel. The artists on this occasion were Miss Ethel Rainsford, in humourous monologues, Miss Griffiths and Mr. Fred Lynch, whose songs and vocal duets were most enthusiastically received, and Mick Kozenof and his Rhythm Musters who also proved a popular feature. The accompanist was Mr. S. Wood and the M.C. Mr. Jim Kyle. The hostesses for the J week-end were members of the Women's War Service Auxiliary.

A presenation was made and a warm tribute paid by Mr. Andrews to Mr. F. L. Fawcett for the untiring assistance which he had rendered the club since its inception. This recognition of service was accom-panied-by musical honours,- - -
