EPUNI INSTITUTE

The Epuni Institute held a ver> well attended successful meeting in Birch Street Hall. Two members were nominated. The competition for the month was an oven cloth ana potholder, Mrs Scott being the winner, while Mrs. Prestige was first foi the best flower. The guest speaker, Mrs. Burgess; gave a very interesting travel talk, describing scenes with the aid ot photographs. Mrs. Strange vicepresident, in thanking Mrs. Burgess, presented her with a box of roses. Mrs France, past secretary, was the recipient of a small gift on behalf of her baby daughter. Mrs. Hart and helpers served afternoon tea. -
