FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
Except for the cold southerly, conditions were good for' football last Saturday and some good games were witnessed between the Hutt'Va. and Wellington for the Yeoman Memorial Cup. This cup was eventu ally won by Wellington—s points to -1. Results are as follows: —■ Senior A: Hutt Valley defeated Wellington 2-1 in a game which held J plenty of thrills in the second half. Senior B: Wellington defeated Hutt Valley 5-2, 4tli Division: Wellington defeated Hutt Valley 2-1 in a good game. ' stll Division: Wellington were torr superior winning 4-0. Gth Division: Hutt Valley won an interesting game 4-2. 7th Division: Wellington defeated Hutt Valley 2-1 in a game which brought a lot of praise for the Hutt •Valley goalkeeper.
