TAITA WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
The November meeting of the Taita Women's Institute was held at Taita Hall, and was presided over by Mrs. Ray Brown. The meeting was opened with the singing of the institute s'ong, and correspondence was then dealt with. The Institute Choir rendered two enjoyable songs, after which afternoon tea was served. A talk was then given by Miss Moore, from the Plant Research Bureau, on -"Agar" made from New Zealand Seaweed.| This talk was botri. interesting and instructive, and in appreciation the speaker was presented with two bouquets. Competition for best flower in garden was won by Mesdames Brown and Draper respectively. The meeting was brought to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
