SALE OF WORK
Again this year Hutt Valley and Putone residents will give a hearty welcome to the Y.M.C.A. Sale of Work, especially mothers of children. Because the values are so attractive, it is being called a "Shop I and Save'' Sale of Work, and the Ladies' Auxiliary merits the heartiest congratulations on the results of their energetic efforts. There are work, novelty, produce, cakes, sweets, flowers, miscellaneous and book stalls, and last, but not least, an exciting bran tub for the children, and by the way, children are specially catered for in regard to wearing apparel; it is all wondei-j fully keen priced. An enjoyable cup of tea can be relied upon while original competitions with good prizes will attract a big crowd. A grand finale conies in the evening when a happy programme, including a physical display with pyramid building by the senior girls will bring this splendid worthwhile function to a close.
