HARRIERS
Last Saturday the Hutt Club ran from Victoria University, Wellington. at the invitation of the University Club. The runners set off in three packs and covered a six mile course through Northland and .Karori. . Hutt members who ran prominently were R. Hammington, M. Smith and K. Lockett. D. Stone who was having his first run with the Hutt Club, turned on a very 'promising performance. After an enjoyable afternoon tea the Hutt Club captain, Mr. L. Brun-ei-i. thanked the University Club, on 'behalf of the Hutt runners for their nospHolity. The teams picked to represent 'th'.o club in the Provincial Cham-, 'pionships held next Saturday are as fellows: — Senior: 1/. Brunetti (capt.), M. Smith, P. Patterson, J. Crosbie, J. Neale and S. Lawrence. I Junior: C. Ncwlands (capt.), K. 'Lockett, R. Hamuiington, A. Cough 'and M. Mausey. ; All .other club members Will accompany the teams to Wellington as a run has been arranged for them also. Meeting times are at Petone Station at 1 p.m and Wellington Station at 1.150 p.m.
