NOTICE TO CONSUMERS „ v / RATIONING PROBABILITY or POSSIBILITY <<!> ■ Tlic Ohairinan and Members have directed that the serious problem of .your Electrical Supply Authority be frankly placed before all consumers. The enormous demand for electrical energv throughout the Dominion, ESPECIALLY SO IN OUR LIEiAYILY 1 NDUSTRIALISEID AREA EMBRACINC fcH> MANY ESSENTIAL INDUSTRIES, is causing the gravest concern. The Board has received instructions from the Electricity Controller that unit consumption must be kept down to a definite figure. The probability of rationing will be greatly minimised if all consumers will co-operate. Do not use even one unit unless it is absolutely necessary, the best met hod of economy will vary in individual shops, offices, factories and homes. The position lias been clearly placed before you through the Press, the combined efforts of all consumers can effect considerable relief. Enforced rationing will hurt you; voluntary economy is to your advantage. We must insist on your co-operation. • BY AUTHORITY HUTT VALLEY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD.
