Expeditionary Force, Our Allies, Wellington R.S.A., Local Bodies, the Artists, and, most impressive of all, that of Absent Comrades, which was honoured in darkness to the sound of the Last Post and the Reveille played by TrumpetMajor Chegwin and Sergeant King. A most interesting informal chat was given by Mon. Walter Nash and items rendered by Mr. Assheton Har bord, Sergeant King, and Nippert Brothers, and Pipers Hetherington and Shannon who enhanced the enjoyment of the evening with bagpipe duos. The accompanists were Messrs Nippert, Bradley and Wood and the announcer Mr. E. Wilton. During the re-union Diggers of the last war mingled freely with Kiwis returned from this conflict and many interesting yarns and experiences were exchanged, and when time for "lights out" arrived, one and all were of the opinion that it had been a "good show." Thf date of this welcome home social is Saturday, May Ist, and it will be held in the R.S.A. club rooms, High Street. Anzac Dawn Parade. Readers are requested to peruse our announcement under the R.S.A. Badge in another column of this issue for particulars of the arrangements which have been made for Dawn Parade on Anzac Day. Poppy Day Poppy Day is set down for Friday April 16th, and the R.S.A. again ask the support of the public for this appeal which has always been responded to so wonderfully in past years.
