SHOP DAY

At next week's Patriotic Shop Day, convened by Waterloo residents, in addition to the usual sup--ply of produce, cakes, etc., there willbe on sale a wonderful collection ofchildren's clothing, including small' boys' shirts, pants and hand knittedpullovers and little girls' frocKs andnovelties. This will provide an exceptional opportunity to secure dainty garments at reasonable pricesand without coupons. These shop days are becoming increasingly popular as v/as evidenced last week when a record was established with a total return of over £40 which will be devoted to providing comforts for prisoners of war and the sick and wounded. The results of the competitions will be found in the advertising columns.
