The Rev. John Caradog Davies who has been Vicar of Levin for the last twenty years, has accepted appointment as vicar of Lower HuLt. It is proposed to make a presentation to Canon and Mrs. Fry and parishioners wishing to contribute should communicate with the treasurer, Mr W. H. Smith.
The preachers for the Harvest Thanksgiving Services at St. James's Church next Sunday will be, in the morning the Rev. Walter Davies, now Acting Vicar of Upper Hutt, and in the evening the Rev. W. W. Lumpkin, Chaplain to the Forces, U.S.A.
