SERVICES CLUB

The Lower Hutt Services Club was again well patronised by Servicemen during last week-end. On Saturday evening Mrs. Benstead was the hostess when a most enjoyable dance was held. On Sunday afternoon the Younger Hostesses entertained a large number of their guests with games, andj in the evening the pupils of Mrs. Noel Taylor contributed a number of most enjoyable musical items including part songs by the choir, solos by Miss Taylor and Miss Enid Wood. Uncle Sam of the U.S. Navy proved a most popular entertainer with songs at the piano, and Messrs Bob Smith and Faulles gave vocal items, and Mr Brazier supplied banjo selections. 1 Community singing was led by Mr Jim Kyle. Mr. Mann provided the •piano accompaniments. Thanks are extended to Mr. Mun'day for donations of meat and to Mr. Horn for milk supplied.
