TAITA BRANCH

Tlie annual meeting of the Taita Women's, Institute was held at Knox Schoolroom on March 2nd. Mrs. Brown over a very good attendance. An election for officers for the incoming year took place. Mrs. Brown (president) being reelected. Committee: Mesdames Bonthorne, Cyerni, Draper, Foster, Loverldge, Matthews, Sage, Vass. The joints prize for the year was won by Mrs. Wilson. The competition for the best flower in the garden was won by Mrs. with Mrs. Vass second. The competition for biscuits was won by Mrs. Keall, with Mrs. Sage second. Th§., president congratulated the mepabers on the work they had accomplished during the past year. MrM' Brown sang two delightful solos and afternoon tea brought a very busy meeting to a close.
